Thanks to the incredible generosity of 26 people, AUAR
and the "Cherokee Fund" helped to raise the money needed for blind mare Cherokee to go to her new forever home to live with a loving family.
The Cherokee Fund was not a non-profit organization, this effort and was done independently by AUAR members and Friends of AUAR. The photo shows where Cherokee lives now (she is on the left) with her "guide horse" best friend who is teaching her how to get around in her new home.
